Great nachos, fun ambience. Great people watching. Service was very good! It was a fun place to enjoy nachos and delicious margaritas.

Amigos is one of our favorite places in Key West. The food is great, the service is quick and friendly, and the location allows you to watch all of the activity that you grow to expect in Key West. If you have never been - I highly recommend putting it on your bucket list

The food here was so delicious. The spicy salsa was very good and their chips are made perfectly - thin, crispy and salty. The corn tortillas are extremely soft. Their hot sauces are also really flavorful -- and spicy!

Second time here. 1st time was not a great experience. Corn tortillas were cold :( and tacos weren't great. It was over a busy weekend. So glad I gave them another chance tho !! Carne asada tacos were delicious as well as the corn on the cob. The 2 table sauces were good but too spicy for me !

- [ ] This cute little restaurant is a great option for an affordable and tasty lunch/dinner off Duval St. I came in on a rainy day and they were very busy for dinner. They have tables indoor and outdoor. They also have rail seating. We were sat on the rail and given the menu promptly. Our waitress was very sweet and explained everything with care. I ordered the beef bowl and a side of chips and (hot) salsa. I was so happy that the chips are made in-house and tasted so fresh, also that hot salsa is actually hot/spicy and had a great flavor. The beef bowl was delicious and a great big portion. Truly would come back here soon if I lived closer.

So many gluten-free options and DELICIOUS!!! A friend recommended this place to us as one of the places to get gluten-free options in Key West and it did not disappoint! We liked it so much we ate there twice - and had it our last night there. So flippen good! The square tortillas - taste more like a tamale - how they do it with just ground corn and water is some kind of magic! So tasty. The Guacamole, the fresh chips, the CORN!!!!! You MUST have the corn and you MUST have the Mexican Coca-Cola straight from the glass bottle - YUM! The Shrimp, chicken and fish - all cooked to perfection - the rice and beans - the black beans were perfectly spiced - the crema on the corn ... OMG I want some NOW! A must-try if you are in the area!

If you're looking for great Mexican food while in Key West, you have to try Amigos. It's a cute little place with bar like counters. There are some tables but the counters are where you want to be with street facing views that's great for people watching. The salsa is like nothing I've had before and I've been to a lot of Mexican restaurants. We had a great server that provided recommendations. The grilled chicken quesadillas are where it's at. If you're not real hungry like I was, get the small. It's still very filling. Great food with great authentic flavors! The only thing I'm never a big fan of is the ala carte where the chips and salsa aren't complimentary.

Walking around Key West made us hungry and the festive looking Amigo's restaurant beckoned us to stop by for lunch. We're glad we did! I enjoyed a very filling and flavorful chicken burrito bowl. The burritos & burrito bowls are nearly infinitely customizable. You have a choice of several proteins: beef, chicken, carne asada, chorizo, fish, shrimp, or veggies. I chose shredded chicken. (Grilled chicken is also available) and black beans (refried beans are also available). The burrito bowl also includes plenty of cheese. The seasoning was excellent and I truly enjoyed my meal. My husband ordered a large cheese quesadilla, which comes with sour cream. It would have benefitted from some salsa. The quesadillas come in two sizes and are also available with most of the aforementioned proteins. So many choices! The menu has a thorough description of each of the burrito/taco/quesadilla fillings so you can know exactly what's in your food and can anticipate how it will taste. No surprises here! The casual Mexican restaurant features plenty of seats facing the street so diners can enjoy people-watching while they eat. We will definitely keep Amigos on our Key West dining list. Maybe next time we'll try some of their famous square house-made tacos.
